I nicknamed these breaded chicken wings party wings because I make this easy recipe anytime I host. They're a guaranteed crowd-pleaser because they're so customizable! For the wings:
- 2.5lb. whole chicken wings
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
For the coating:
- 2 ½ cups flour
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ tablespoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make Breaded Chicken Wings
Step 1: Prepare
First, wash the chicken wings and pat dry with a paper towel, then place a wire rack over a baking sheet. Whisk eggs with milk and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Combine the flour with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika in a separate bowl.
Step 2: Coat The Chicken
Now, you can coat the chicken with the egg wash and flour mixture, then repeat once more to be double-coated. Shake off the excess flour. Place the coated wings on a wire rack and continue until all the wings are coated.

To start, heat 2 inches of oil in a saucepot. Then add the chicken wings to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, for 8 minutes, flipping halfway. How To Store Breaded Chicken Wings
While these breaded chicken wings are best when served immediately, you can store them if you have any leftovers. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To keep them for longer, you can put them in a freezer-safe bag and freeze them for up to 6 months.
How To Reheat The Crispy Wings
