Here, you'll find a ton of delicious recipes, but first, I want to share a little bit about me. I was first introduced to cooking by my grandma. She was, in my opinion, the best at-home cook ever, and I don't know if she ever made a meal I wasn't obsessed with. She taught me so much about cooking, and for the past 10 years, I've been cooking at home for myself.
I've developed a real passion for making different recipes, and it's honestly become one of my favorite things to do. My wife and I cook together almost every night of the week, and we're always experimenting with new recipes to come up with things that are worth sharing here. Anyway, while I'm not a professional chef by any means, I definitely consider myself a "pro home cook," and I love sharing my passion for cooking with anyone who will let me. HOW I GOT HERE
After losing my job during the pandemic, my lifelong friend Joe Duff - who already had a successful food blog - reached out to me to start a food blog together. He knew I had a passion for cooking and writing, so we created I'm Hungry For That together. We share just about every type of recipe there, but I wanted to start my own blog to share my favorite chicken recipes and other easy recipes that I came up with on my own. And that's how Chicken and Chive was born.
Now, I aim to create delicious and easy chicken recipes - since chicken is by far my favorite food - and other recipes that I think are worth trying. I really don't love making complicated recipes, so here you'll find rather simple ones that are still as tasty as can be. So, I hope you love all of my recipes as much as I love making them!
