McDONALD"S CHICKEN BIG MAC

INGREDIENTS

For the Chicken: – 450g ground chicken – 1/2 tsp salt – ½ tsp garlic powder – 1/4 tsp pepper – ½ cup corn starch, in a shallow bowl for dunking

For the Batter: – 1 cup water – 1 cup plain flour – ¼ cup corn starch – 1 egg – 1tbsp Dijon mustard – 1tsp garlic powder – 1tsp onion powder

INGREDIENTS

For the Sauce: – 1/3 cup mayo – 1/3 cup ketchup – 1tbsp onion – 1 small gherkin – 1 tbsp Dijon mustard – 1tsp garlic powder – 1tsp onion powder – 1tsp paprika – 1tsp vinegar

INGREDIENTS

To Serve: – 2 seeded burger buns, sliced. – 2 burger bases – 2 cheese slices – handful of shredded lettuce – 2 tbsp chopped onion – 2 tbsp chopped gherkin – vegetable oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make the chicken patties and freeze for 90 mins 2. Make the Big Mac sauce 3. Mix the batter and dip each patty in it. Then fry them in oil.  4. Assemble the burgers
