CHEDDAR AND CHIVE SAVORY SCONES

INGREDIENTS

– 1 ¼ cups all purpose flour – 1 tablespoon granulated sugar – ½  tablespoon baking powder – ½  teaspoon salt – ¼  cup salted butter

INGREDIENTS CONTINUED

– 1 large egg – ⅓  cup buttermilk – ⅓  cup grated sharp cheddar – ⅛ cup chopped chives

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine the dry ingredients with butter. Add the cheese and chives 2. Add the wet ingredients 3. Shape dough into a circle and divide into quarters 4. Bake 20 mins at 375F
