CHICKEN PARM SANDWICH

INGREDIENTS

– 2 chicken breasts, halved – ⅓ cup flour – 3 small eggs – ¾ cup breadcrumbs – 1 tsp garlic powder – ¾ tsp onion powder – 1 tsp  basil – ⅓ cup parmesan -Buns, cheese, sauce

Step 1

Combine flour with salt and pepper in a shallow dish. Whisk eggs with a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.  In a third dish, combine breadcrumbs with seasonings, and parmesan.

Coat the chicken with flour, then dredge through the eggs and, finally, the breadcrumbs. Heat oil in a skillet. Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side on medium-high heat

Step 3

Place the chicken onto the wire rack on top of a baking sheet. Preheat oven to 400°F. Top the chicken with mozzarella slices. Broil the chicken for 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
